San Fernando de Omoa Fortress
San Fernando de Omoa Fortress is part of the Tentative list of Honduras in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.
The San Fernando de Omoa Fortress is an 18th century Spanish colonial fortification. It was built to protect Gulf of Honduras and the port of Omoa. Brick and carved black coral rock were used in its construction.
